PRINCIPAL'S CONGRATULATORY MESSAGE TO THE CLASS OF 2022

To the Matric Class of 2022

Congratulations on your 100% NSC Grade 12 passl

What an indescribable feeling!

We cannot find the words, beyond '"Thank You", to express our gratitude to our Heavenly Father for His guidance and blessings upon us all; the Management of the school for ensuring a conducive teaching and learning environment, the dedicated Educators who gave it their all; you, the Learners, who remained true to vision of the school and what was imparted to you; and all the Parents for their unwavering support and for entrusting MEPS with the responsibility to develop and empower their children to be the best that they can be.

While the school has always performed well over the years, we have always been missing the 100% mark by a whisker. So, with this achievement, we have reached a milestone and turned the bend onto a more demanding route as there cannot be any "looking back" hereafter. We entered this year on slightly shaky ground as the pass percentage coming into Grade 12 wasn't exactly where we wanted it to be. It thus took a huge amount of effort from all sectors — especially your Grade 12 teachers, to polish you into this shining example of teamwork, hard work, dedication, sacrifice and courage.

The late Aunty Betty Kennedy, founder of Myngenoegen English Private School, would have been so proud of this achievement. The late Aunty Alice Pemma, who captained the MEPS ship for so many years, would have danced into the night in celebration of this achievement. Mrs Barbra Losper and Ms Yasmin Jardine, currently charged with taking the MEPS ship even further into the future, are bursting with pride for what is and anticipating the greatness that lies ahead for this institution. Your part in inspiring is massive, and I hope that you will soar even further beyond expectations as you realise the magnitude of your performance and what it means to the entire MEPS community!

We sincerely wish you well in all your future endeavours. Don't forget to put God first in all that you do. Seek His divine guidance for everything. He knows best! Continue to carry within you the fire of discipline and purpose that we strived to nourish. Stretch yourselves to redefine any existing boundaries, as you did with this performance.

You have, indeed, left your mark.

We honour you!

Congratulations, once again, MEPS Class of 2022!
